Where to find Subject line parameters?

Post by mushu »

MantisBT v2.24.0 on Windows
Email Reporting v0.10.1
adLogin v1.01

Wondering where in the documentation is a list of possible parameters you can use on the Subject line of an email when sent to the MantisBT processor? For example, to manually send an email and add it as a Note to an existing bug, you put the bug ticket number within square brackets in the Subject line, and it will be automatically added as a note to that ticket.

Are there any other things that can be used to direct Mantis to do automated things like that?

* can you use a special Subject line to Create a new ticket directly in a specified Project group?
* can you put something in the Subject to assign a new ticket directly to an existing developer?

Thanks in advance!

No not at the moment. Though there is something in development but thats gonna take quite a while to finish

You can use IMAP and let it create specific project folders. Emails in those folders will be imported to that project

MantisBT has options where issues are assigned automatically when certain projects or categories are used. Based on how EmailReporting works you are probably limited to one developer auto assigned per project
